Greetings from Mrs. Sisko, Assistant Principal

Dear Burks Families and Students,

My name is Kasey Sisko, and I am absolutely thrilled to serve as your new assistant principal here at Burks Elementary School! While I began my teaching career in East Tennessee, I ultimately followed my heart back home to Cookeville. Most recently, I spent nine wonderful years teaching at Capshaw Elementary School, and I am so excited to bring that experience to this new role.

On a personal note, my husband, Willem, and I were recently married. When we aren't working, we love spending our time together tending to our year-round vegetable garden, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spoiling our pup.

I feel incredibly blessed to join the wonderful Burks community. I look forward to partnering with you all for a fantastic, successful school year ahead!
